The Treaty of England was signed just one year ago, marking what is to be a period of peace between the war worn nations of France and England. However, new conflicts arise from within the very walls of court. Threats of religious instability likewise pour in from Germany, where the heretic Luther is quickly gaining support from the German princes. With no male heir to succeed the King, the throne is vulnerable to usurpers--foreign and English alike. One cannot tell friend from foe, lover from adulterer, saviour from deceiver. In such a treacherous time, one cannot help but question just how far one is willing to go to achieve ones ambitions. Dare thee enter the decadent court of desire?
